At Mango Tree Resorts, we understand that travel plans and event requirements may change. Our cancellation and refund policy has been designed to clearly communicate the applicable terms for accommodation, group bookings, corporate events, weddings and other reservations.
By making a booking with Mango Tree Resorts, the guest/customer acknowledges and agrees to the cancellation and refund terms applicable to the booking.
Unless a different cancellation policy is specifically mentioned in the booking confirmation, the following cancellation charges shall apply to standard room reservations:
The cancellation period shall be calculated based on the scheduled check-in date and the date on which the cancellation request is received by Mango Tree Resorts.
Bookings involving multiple rooms, corporate groups, conferences, offsites, destination weddings or other large events may be subject to separate cancellation and payment terms. The cancellation and refund conditions specified in the relevant quotation, booking confirmation, agreement or event contract shall prevail for such bookings. For large group and event bookings, Mango Tree Resorts may require progressive or non-refundable advance payments depending on the nature and scale of the event.
Wedding, banquet, conference and event bookings may involve advance arrangements, food procurement, manpower allocation, venue blocking and other commitments. Accordingly, cancellation and refund terms for such bookings shall be governed by the specific quotation, agreement or booking confirmation issued for the event. Once services have been specifically procured, arranged or committed for an event, the corresponding amount may become non-refundable, subject to the applicable booking terms and law.
If a guest fails to arrive at Mango Tree Resorts on the scheduled check-in date without prior written cancellation, the booking shall be treated as a no-show. No refund shall be provided for no-shows unless specifically agreed otherwise in writing by Mango Tree Resorts. Where a booking consists of multiple nights, failure to arrive on the first night may result in cancellation of the remaining nights without refund.
Rescheduling of a booking is subject to availability and the applicable booking conditions. A request to change the stay dates shall not automatically be treated as a cancellation or guarantee that the advance payment will be transferred to the new dates. For certain promotional rates, special packages, group bookings, weddings and events, rescheduling may not be permitted. Where rescheduling is permitted, any difference in applicable room rates, taxes, package prices or other charges shall be payable by the guest/customer.
In case a guest checks out earlier than the originally confirmed departure date, the unused portion of the booking shall not automatically qualify for a refund. Any refund or adjustment for early departure shall be subject to the applicable booking terms and the discretion of Mango Tree Resorts, where legally permissible.
Approved refunds shall generally be processed through the original payment method used for the booking, unless otherwise agreed. The time taken for the refund to reflect in the guest's bank account or card may depend on the payment gateway, bank or financial institution. Any applicable payment gateway, transaction, banking or processing charges may be deducted from the refundable amount, where permitted.
Mango Tree Resorts shall not be liable for failure, delay, cancellation or interruption of services caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, extreme weather, government restrictions, civil unrest, strikes, epidemics, pandemics, or transportation disruptions. Cancellation or inability to travel due to personal circumstances, traffic conditions, vehicle breakdown, roadblocks, or weather conditions shall be governed by the applicable standard cancellation policy.
Cancellation requests must be communicated to Mango Tree Resorts through the official contact details or booking channel through which the reservation was made. A cancellation shall be considered effective only once the cancellation request has been acknowledged or recorded by Mango Tree Resorts or the relevant authorised booking platform. Guests are advised to retain the cancellation confirmation for their records.
